About

This site is written by a former custom barrel maker who has drilled, reamed, rifled and hand-lapped rifle barrels.

The tracker exists because "how long is the wait?" is the first question anyone asks about a custom barrel, and the answers are spread across a couple dozen websites. This puts them in one place, with a link back to each maker.

Every maker's row comes from that maker's own website, collected the same way.
